Update: 2021 Junior Programs

Hunter Volleyball will conduct its 2021 Junior Programs at Hunter Sports High School Gateshead, on Wednesday afternoons. Whether you’re a beginner, have played a little school volleyball, or participated in previous Spikeroos programs, all are welcome to register for one of the activities below and get yourself into the other ‘world game’, volleyball.

This 16 week program is for boys and girls learning and playing the game together, featuring skill development and games. Programs are offered for kids aged 12-14 (14U), and 14-16 (16U). Volleyball can be a tricky game to learn, so be equipping kids with foundation skills through repetition, and applying these to game situations will greatly increase their chances of mastering the game! Update 2/2/21: Term 1-2 Spikeroos Registrations now CLOSED

The 16 week competition (10 Feb – 26 May) delivered for juniors aged 16-18 (18U) boys and girls separately, is social game-play, including refereeing, and fosters an inclusive yet competitive culture. Each team is supported by a coach. We have extended the Junior Social Competition from 9 weeks to 16 weeks, to give players greater time to play a round robin tournament, including some specialty skill development sessions, while making lifelong friends through sport. This social competition will also assist players with future transition into Adult Social Competitions.

Minimum 3 teams per gender required to deliver these competitions
Starts 10th Feb, Finishes 26th May
Update 3/2/21: Term 1-2 18U Junior Social Competition registrations now closed
