About Hunter Volleyball

The Charter of Hunter Volleyball Inc is to “conduct, promote, advance, and administer the sport of volleyball in the Hunter Region of New South Wales”.

Our Mission

We work tirelessly to promote and deliver high quality and engaging volleyball coaching, competitions and events in service of the members of the community.

Our association delivers programs at multiple participation hubs, levelling out the traditional layers of administration by building communities of activity in LGA’s within the region.

For over 25 years, volleyball has been played in Newcastle (Broadmeadow) and our beautiful city beaches. In 2020 we started our first Lake Macquarie participation hub at Hunter Sports High School.

We are currently in negotiation with venues in Maitland so that we can kick off programs there and then establish inter-city competitions!

Hunter Volleyball Inc is an Incorporated Association, governed by a volunteer Committee. Under our Constitution, Office Bearers and General Committee members are elected at the Annual General Meeting.
