Juniors

Volleyball is your sport of choice this year, because it is non-contact, there are multiple seasons per year, and it can be played indoor or outdoors.

Start with Spikeroos for skill development and then progress into a Junior Social Competition, there’s a lifetime of volleyball ahead of you!

For experienced juniors the Junior Volleyball League (JVL) is your final destination before progressing into adult competitions. Join the Sharks, Sunbirds, Panthers or Redbacks for high level weekly competition plus training between June–September.

There are pathways into the Hunter Academy of Sport volleyball program as well as the Hunter Volleyball U18 representative program and the NSW Phoenix state junior teams.

Junior Volleyball League (JVL)

The third JVL season kicks off this Winter with 8 teams returning to contest the title. With so many players ageing out from last season, expect to see lots of new faces on the court ... and in the coaching lineups.

3s By The Sea

The 3s by the Sea social beach volleyball competition kicks off again in 2024 at the beautiful Nobbys Beach on Saturday mornings!

Spikeroos

Our participation program is an intensive experience covering the mechanics of passing, setting, serving, spiking and blocking plus the decision-making involved on offence and defence! It's the one-stop place to start and finetune your volleyball skill development.

We will also deliver Spikeroos with modified games in Maitland in Term 4, 2024, as part of an introduction to volleyball as we grow the game in more centres in the region!‍‍
