Coach Recruitment - Spring Blitz
It’s recruitment season! There’s some great programs starting this Spring and we need your help.
Maitland High School on Thursdays from 5.30-7.00pm
Running from 17th Oct – 28th November (7 weeks) we are delivering a juniors skill development and modified games for teenagers in Years 8-12. The weekly program, equipment and uniform provided! Rock up, gather the kids, deliver the program, share some knowledge, and make a difference for the next generation!
Hunter Sports High School on Thursdays from 5.00-6.00pm
Running 17th Oct – 5th December (8 weeks) the ever popular Spikeroos 14 and Under junior skill development program for beginners aged 11-14 years old. Weekly progressive skills program, equipment and uniform provided! Work as a team to deliver the weekly program, share some knowledge through small group activities and demonstrations, and make a difference to the understanding and capability of youngsters trying volleyball for the first time!
Nobbys Beach on Saturdays from 8.30 – 1.00pm
Running 26th October – 7th December (7 weeks), the 3s by the Sea is our social 3-a-side beach volleyball competition. With two divisions running on two courts each week, we need two court supervisors to support the competition, setting up basic equipment (lines, antennae and umbrellas),start/finish games and collate weekly scores. You’ll help with any tips for technique or gameplay, while encouraging the teams to play some awesome seaside volleyball!
A Working With Children Clearance is a pre-requisite for these roles (if you are over 18). These are free, can be applied for online this week to be cleared and validated by HV prior to programs starting in 4 weeks time!
Get amongst it this Spring and support our growing community by sharing your knowledge and love of the game with others. An Honorarium payment is available to contribute to your expenses for travel etc as a valued Association volunteer.
