Announcement of a Special General Meeting
The Committee of Hunter Volleyball Inc (HV) has decided to host a Special General Meeting of the Association, in order to pass a motion which would change the Constitution of HV.
The formal Notice of SGM will be emailed to all current Registered Members, advising the motion and the method of voting at the meeting (either in person or online).

The FAQ's referred to below will be published on the website and regularly updated, providing Members and supporters with as much information as possible ahead of the meeting.
"Dani here, Hunter Volleyball President.
We need to make an important decision regarding our clubs future, and need your input.
Our club will soon decide whether or not we continue to affiliate with Volleyball NSW.
Increasingly, we have been asked - What does Affiliating with our State body, and your Hunter Volleyball membership cover?
We have analysed, and critiqued this, and for the past 5 years we have experienced challenges in identifying Affiliation benefits.
As a club, we have been self-sufficient in delivering a broad range of services to our growing membership, without material support or the presence of Volleyball NSW in our region.
Recently the Hunter Volleyball Committee met to discuss the purpose of continuing as an Affiliate of Volleyball NSW.
We discussed the value of your membership levies which currently go to the State and beyond, and if we could better serve you by those funds staying in our region for our community. We believe that we can.
On Tuesday 12th November, Hunter Volleyball Inc will be hosting a Special General Meeting to vote on this matter: Continuing to Affiliate with Volleyball NSW, or independently managing our collective future.
Information will be sent to you shortly via email, and shared at our venues, to ensure that you .. our members and supporters .. are aware of this important decision, and the reasons why we are considering this decision.
We will prepare FAQs for you to understand what it means come 1st January when our Affiliation is due to expire and 31st March when your annual membership expires.
The FAQs will answer questions you may have about Volleyball NSW events, State Teams, membership, coaching and refereeing, and insurance.
The Committee is not taking this decision lightly, but have your best interests as members as our top priority, so we need to ensure that you have an opportunity to cast your vote on the future of our association.
